A fellow indie game dev, Cowboy Code Studios, posted this on Twitter recently, and I thought it was incredibly pertinent for the work we’ve been doing lately between playtesting in ‘Dead House: Watchers of the Night’ and tweaking the Genesis System in general. Long story short, we’ve been doing a lot of work, but on “smaller” components of the system. I quote smaller because they are details that aren’t massive in the grand scheme of things, but they are important in that they “make” certain elements.
We are very happy to have such great playesting groups as we do that keep coming back for more and giving us honest, truthful opinions and feedback on everything! We are going to keep on keeping on and make the Genesis System as super as we can make it, and do the same for ‘Dead House: Watchers of the Night’, ‘Darkstar’, ‘Project: Utopia’, and on and on!
