We’ve been unable to do a playtest this week due to all of the work being done on our house (and the noise!) but that just means we’ve had more time to augment some things on our end for the game book, Character Core, and concept art!
Ian is currently working on a caliber chart for ballistics to add to our current ballistics write-up, and I’m fiddling around with an app I recently got on my Kindle for drawing. So far I’ve come up with my concept of a shadow portal:
Interesting things as far as cons go? Well, AetherCon, an online tabletop gaming con running from November 13-15 this year, recently posted that they have opened up pre-registration for GM’s on their website. We heard about AetherCon for the first time last year, and while we missed really joining in on the festivities we think it’s a really cool idea and definitely worth checking it out!
ConnectiCon is next month, July 9-12, in Hartford, CT and we’re going to be going there and cosplay, and check it all out (not vending or running any games…. yet!) Pi-Con in Windsor Locks is July 31-August 2 at a new, larger location, while on the same weekend is Boston Comic Con. CTComiconn is August 14-16 at Mohegan Sun, and while we’ve never been they have some pretty neat things lined up. While we didn’t enter their indie dev contest this year, a lot of fun folks did, so that’s a perfect reason to check out the Boston Festival of Indie Games on September 12. Hartford Comic Con is September 19&20, and boasts a favourite actor and martial artist of ours, Michael Jai White!
Phew! So many places to go, people to see, and cosplays to wear! It’s going to be a busy, but fun, summer, so game on! 🙂
